    Re-member and Re-claim Your Life

The timeless teachings of yoga tell us that endless joy, wisdom, energy and love lie at the core for our being. Yet for many of us, our habitually outward focused attention makes this true essence inaccessible.
When the search for what is within us is directed outside us instead, we begin to mistakenly believe that joy and fulfillment can be found in people, places, things, education, behaviors, substances or experiences – a path which inevitably dead ends in darkness and disconnection. This loss of self, due to trauma or unmet needs, is not only the root of addiction, eating disorders and co-dependent behavior, Patanjali calls it the root of all suffering. We don’t have to suffer. We can reclaim our true selves. The self-reclamation process requires coming home to parts of ourselves that we’ve banished or covered up for far too long, with the intention of getting the love, acceptance, and belonging that is our birthright. This intensive will deepen your understanding, be a catalyst for your healing, and serve as a safe haven for recovering all parts of you.

Using the 8-limbed path of yoga, experiential exercises, meditation, pranayama, lecture and discussion, we will do deep work to reclaim lost parts of ourselves, unmask our true nature, and create healing for the whole through re-memebering. There’s No Place Like Home will deepen and strengthen any therapeutic or step work that you have invested in, or serve as a starting place for your journey to self-reclamation.

    Program is suitable for:
People in recovery from substance or process addictions, those in recovery from eating disorders, yoga teachers, anyone in the helping professions, including therapists, counselors, pastoral care or addiction sponsors.
