Johnny Brannigan

Chef Johnny Brannigan is an Internationally trained Ayurvedic, vegetarian and vegan chef with a deep base in eastern spiritual teachings and Western natural, holistic medicine. Initially introduced to the Vedic wisdom and practical meditation techniques by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Switzerland he quickly became renowned as an artistic chef and teacher of Ayurveda and Transcendental Meditation.

Johnny has traveled to over 33 countries, cooking and teaching and always learning and gaining inspiration for new recipes, while integrating Ayurvedic principles into the food. He co-founded a unique Ayurvedic inspired snack company in Great Britain, The Organic Snack Company in 1998 and then travelled to USA where he cooked at The Raj. At this time he published his first cookbook, The Global Vegetarian.

After moving to Kauai, Hawaii he co-authored the award winning Eat Taste Heal, an Ayurvedic guidebook and cookbook. Chef Johnny is currently writing his 3rd cookbook, Eat Taste Love, including recipes from the Chopra Lifestyle website as well as from Eat Taste Heal. He is also an Ayurvedic practitioner and Vedic astrologer with clients worldwide. He holds regular seminars in Ayurvedic vegan cooking, in Ayurvedic lifestyle and the Seven Secrets of Meditation and Inner Sound Illumination Technique in California, Hawaii, Michigan and Florida and Canada and has appeared on several TV chat shows demonstrating Ayurvedic cooking and his recipes.
